Privacyverklaring

Laatst bijgewerkt: 15 oktober 2026

1. Wie is verantwoordelijk?

5. Hoe lang bewaren we je gegevens?

DK Media builds websites for businesses. Here you can read which personal details we use, why we use them, how long we keep them and what your rights are.

1. Who is responsible?

DK Media is responsible for what happens to your details through this website and through our dashboard. Do you have a question about your details? Email us at DeKruif.Business@outlook.com.

Our business address and Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number will follow after our registration.

2. Which details do we use, and why?

When you fill in the contact form

We receive your name, your email address, your company name (if you fill it in), the package you choose, your message and the language you view the website in. We use these to answer your question and, if you want, to make you a quote. We may do this because you ask us to get in touch with you.

When you become a client

We keep your contact details, your company details, the agreements about your project and your invoices. We need these to carry out your project and to invoice it. Part of this we must keep by tax law.

When you have an account in our dashboard

For your account we keep your name, your email address, an encrypted password and when you last logged in. We also keep track of which changes were made in the dashboard and by whom. That way you can log in safely and we can fix mistakes.

To prevent abuse

When you send the contact form, we briefly keep (about one day) an encrypted code of your IP address. It stops anyone from using the form for mass spam. We cannot turn that code back into your IP address.

When you visit the website

Our hosting provider processes technical details, such as your IP address and browser type, to show you the website and keep it secure. We do not use tools that track what you do on the website, and we show no ads. The fonts and other parts of the website are on our own hosting, so your browser does not contact other companies for them.

The name you type at "Try it yourself" stays on your own device. We do not send it anywhere.

3. Cookies and storage in your browser

We use no tracking cookies and no advertising cookies. That is why we do not ask for consent. Your browser does remember a few things, so the website works the way you expect:

You can always clear this in your browser settings.

4. Who do we share your details with?

We never sell your details and we do not share them for advertising. We do work with a few parties that help us run the website and the dashboard. They only use your details for their service to us.

Some of these parties may also process details outside the EU, for example in the United States. This only happens with the safeguards required by privacy law (GDPR), such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

5. How long do we keep your details?

6. How do we protect your details?

The connection to the website and the dashboard is always encrypted. In the dashboard, each client only sees the details of their own website. We log in with an extra code on our phone (two-step verification). Your details are stored in the EU.

7. Your rights

You can always ask us to:

Email DeKruif.Business@outlook.com. You will get an answer within one month. Sometimes we first ask you to show who you are, so we do not give your details to someone else.

Not happy with how we handle your details? Let us know and we will look for a solution together. You may also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

8. Websites we build for clients

Do we build and run another business's website, and do you leave your details there? For example through a contact form or an online calendar. Then that business is responsible for your details. We process them on behalf of that business. Questions are best sent to that business; we help them answer.

9. Children

Our services are meant for businesses. We do not knowingly process details of children under 16.

10. Changes

If we change how we handle your details, we update this privacy statement. The date of the latest version is always at the top.
